When going after your dream of building career in entertainment, you will quickly learn that a relationship can be a business opportunity and often hard to maintain, especially in Hollywood. 10. Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian – 72 days
Nobody believed this marriage would last long and everyone was right. Kardashian is the sexy celebrity who has made money out of scandals and family reality shows. Humphries was the basketball player who thought he married the love of his life. Even as Humphries was saying that he is working hard to make the marriage work, Kardashian was already announcing that the marriage was over.

Ali Landry is a model and actress who first burst into the limelight when she appeared in a Doritos commercial aired during the 1998 Super Bowl. She probably thought she got a keeper when she married the innocent-looking and baby-faced Mario Lopez of “Saved by the Bell.” After only 18 days of marriage however, she found out that Lopez had not been exactly faithful during the six years that she was his fiancée.
8. Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds – 14 days
Tracey Edmonds is a producer who sits on the board of the Producers Guild of America. Eddie Murphy has starred in hit movies like the “Beverly Hills Cop” series. On January 1, 2008, the two exchanged marriage vows in an island off Bora Bora. The marriage, however, was never made official as the two decided it was unnecessary to have their relationship defined further. It probably was a good thing as it did not last at all.

Catherine Oxenberg was one of the stars of the 1980s primetime soap drama called “Dynasty.” Her mother was Princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia. She attended Harvard University in the 1980s. She got married to the producer Robert Evans on July 12, 1998. It quickly ended however, as the marriage got annulled after just nine days.

Dennis Rodman was basketball’s ultimate bad boy. He was part of the rough and rugged Detroit Pistons team that bagged back-to-back NBA championships in the latter part of the 80s. He then spent a few troubled years with the San Antonio Spurs. A stint with the Chicago Bulls that teamed him up with Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and coached by Phil Jackson tamed Rodman as he behaved well enough to stay for three years, winning a title each time out. Unfortunately, Baywatch babe Carmen Electra failed to tame Rodman the way the Bulls did. They got married in November 1998 and filed for an annulment a mere nine days later.

The two were icons of the 1960s. Dennis Hopper co-wrote, directed and starred in the movie entitled “Easy Rider,” which is considered the movie symbol of the 1960s. Michele Phillips was a member of The Mamas & the Papas. Hopper, however, had a lot of baggage as he was difficult to be with and was a notorious drug addict. They got married on October 31, 1970 and divorced just eight days later.

Britney Spears started out in “The New Mickey Mouse Club” before exploding to the pop music scene with “Baby, One More Time” in 1999, the biggest selling solo album by a teenage artist ever made. She followed it up with another blockbuster hit called “Oops!…I Did It Again.” She became a pop icon and her every move was scrutinized by the media, including her relationship with Justin Timberlake, her fellow Mickey Mouse Club graduate who was making it big himself. It probably came too fast and too much for Spears as she was obviously harking back to her more innocent childhood days by hooking up with her old friend Jason Alexander. The two got married in Las Vegas before Spears realized the folly and described it as a joke that went too far.

ZsaZsa Gabor was a Hungarian-born American actress and socialite. The winner of the Miss Hungary beauty pageant in 1936, her European flair and inherent charm and grace made her a much sought-after actress after she moved to the United States in 1941 when she was 24 years old. She had nine husbands, including one with Felipe de Alba, a Mexican lawyer and character actor whom she married in 1983. Unfortunately, Gabor’s previous union to Michael O’ Hara had not yet been properly dissolved at that time, so her marriage to de Alba was immediately declared invalid and annulled. The two never stayed together.
