Craig Kurland was hired by Jeffrey Katzenberg’s mobile video start-up Quibi as Head of Business Affairs. Kurland was previously EVP, Business Affairs for Fox Broadcasting Company. Havas Canada COO Melody Adhami will replace Tom Olesinski as CEO of the company after a transition period. Adhami was co-founder of Plastic Mobile, which was acquired by Havas in 2015. UK prodco Icon Films namedHarry Marshall as Chairman; Laura Marshall, formerly MD, as CEO; and Stephen McQuillan, formerly Head of Factual, as Creative Director. Premiere Networks promoted Elizabeth Fazio to VP of National Talent Engagement and Events. Fazio joined the company in 2013. Production company Bodega tapped Mark Kovacs to oversee production in its New York office. Kovacs joins from Humble. Thinkfactory Media elevated Adam Freeman to President of Creative; Brian Dale to SVP, Unscripted Development; Justin Nichols to Head of Casting; and Ashley Kolpack to VP, Unscripted Development.
